My Why

I made the life changing decision to become a doula after having our son in 2018. My baby boy was a LONG (but beautiful) labor. Our doula was by our side every step of the way and her impact was indescribable. My husband and I felt confident in all of our decisions and I was very happy with my birth story. Knowing birth is unpredictable (and mine was) I still was able to feel heard, loved, and empowered because of our doula.

When I reflected on the experience and how lucky we were to have our doula’s support I knew it was a service I wanted to offer to birthing people and their families as well. What blessing and honor that could be to help guide other expecting parents (whether its their first or subsequent) to feel the same confidence and loving support!

I am continuously in awe of the birthing people, babies, and families I get to work with and I am devoted to offering loving emotional support and researched based information to each of them every step of the way. Growing up I would have never guessed that this would be my life’s work, but I am oh so honored it is.
