As a doula, every birth I've attended has a special place in my heart. The privilege of being present at the start of a new life isn't just a profession; it's a profound connection that transcends time. Each one of my "doula babies" holds a unique place in my story, an indelible mark on my journey.
From the anticipation-filled moments before birth to the heart warming cry of a newborn entering the world, I've been witness to the magic of life's beginning. But it doesn't end there. What's truly remarkable is watching these babies grow, evolve, and become incredible individuals in their own right.
There is a gift in knowing that at the genesis of their start, I was there—offering support, comfort, and encouragement to the family.
It's a bond that goes beyond the delivery room sometimes —
a connection to a moment that's forever a profound memory of strength and love.
